Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

SOSPENDIS is published four times a year, a peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in field research and literature review related to general and social Education. The aim is to provide readers with a better understanding of general and social Education and present developments through the publication of articles and research reports, both field studies and literature.

This journal invites scholars and experts working across all social and general education disciplines. Articles must be original, based on field research and literature, unpublished, and not under review for possible publication in other journals. All submitted papers are subject to review by editors, the editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.

 

  1. Writing Format

Writing Organization

Articles use Microsoft Word (MS Word) 2010-2013 (or the latest) software in A4 size, then type the text in 1.15 spaces. Cambria-based font size 12pt and one column. Reference list using a reference management tool (Zotero or Mendeley). The reference list is arranged alphabetically according to the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (Author-Date). Furthermore, the manuscript is about 10-20 pages long with top, bottom, left, and right margins equal to 3 centimeters (3 cm). The results and discussion section can be added with subtitles written in Cambria font 12 and bold, new paragraphs are written inside, and between paragraphs are not spaced.

  1. title

The title of the scientific work must include a minimum of 10 words and a maximum of 15 words in Indonesian or English. After the title, followed by the inclusion of the author's full name without abbreviation (do not include academic degrees), the identity of the department (choose one: Faculty/Study Program/Bureau/Division) from the closest line in the author's hierarchy position line and separated by a comma (,) followed by identity institution (one can be selected: University/Institute/High School/Institution/Institution) where the author works, then include the email address as a media for correspondence between the reader and the author at the bottom of the first page.

  1. Abstract

The summary of research results, field studies, and literature are evident without going into too much detail. The abstract font type is Cambria with a font size of 12pt in 1 (one) paragraph and contains a minimum of 150 to a maximum of 200 words; the abstract is accompanied by a maximum of 5 (five) keywords or phrases and must contain: (1) Background, research problem; (2) Research objectives; (3) The research method used; (5) Research results; (6) Research conclusions in achieving research objectives.

  1. Introduction

It contains an introduction to research with a proportion of 25% or about 4 (four) pages of the complete manuscript. Contains background problems, research problems, research problems clear literature review, and research objectives.

  1. Research Method

The basis of the research or research principles has a proportion of 12% or about 2 (two) pages of the complete manuscript. Includes research paradigm, type of research conducted, data collection techniques, and data analysis.

 

  1. Results and Analysis

The essence of the findings of this study has a proportion of 38% or around seven (7) pages of the complete manuscript. Disclose research results clearly, including tables, graphs, and images which are interpreted and translated with the relevant literature (if deemed necessary).

  1. Conclusion

The final part of this research report has a proportion of 7% or about 1 () page of the entire manuscript. Conclude research that can represent critical findings and make meaningful recommendations.

  1. References

The final part of this research report has a proportion of 12% or about 2 (two) pages of the entire manuscript. It reflected the adequacy and novelty of reference literature by prioritizing scientific journals (80%) as a basis for a minimum of 12 citations.
